The Guillotine Guild

Lyra, Lilith's eighth daughter and shadow-wielding founder of The Guillotine Guild, is only after one goal: freeing her younger sister from the grips of the brutal government organization who has her imprisoned. To do that, she must track down souls on the surface who have reneged on their contract to Hell and collect the bounty. Each soul's value, however small, brings Lyra closer her sister's release.

Eleanor "Lennie" Winthrop was born with the world at her fingertips and a golden spoon in her mouth. The prodigal child of media mogul Edward Winthrop III, she worshiped the altar of power from birth. But on her thirteenth birthday, she is visited by the Devil, or so she thinks, who gives her a message: you are destined to die. Drawing upon her powers of persuasion, little Lennie convinces the demon to extend her life, yet reneges on Hell's contract when it is time to collect.

The Guillotine Guild is a sapphic, enemies-to-lovers romance with two morally-grey female protagonists, winding curves of intrigue, and further insight into the Infernal Realms universe, introduced in Asmodeus Rising.
